OK, so we've been talking about this pool project forever, and some of you may have been wondering (and rightfully so) whether we'd ever actually start it or at least shut up about it. Well, I'm happy to report that things are finally underway. The first question that everyone always asks us is, "How the heck are you going to get equipment into the backyard to build a pool?!" Good question. Not to be a smart-ass about it, but... very carefully! It also involves building a large earthen ramp to get equipment down the side yard and into the backyard to not only dig a giant hole that will hopefully one day be a swimming pool, but also to drill about forty 13-foot deep footings into bedrock to keep our new pool from sliding down the hillside during the next big one. So, without further ado, here's the first installment of The Great Katsoudas Pool Project, or as some of us like to refer to it... "when the hell is it going to be done so we can finally finish the front yard?!"
